Don Clericuzio questions - 01/23/03 11:56 PM

How in the hell does Don Clericuzio and his top officials fine things out with out?

1. Like how did they know about Cross and his henchmen having anything to do with the death of Skannet? Or his involvement in getting into the movie business?

2. How did They find out That it was actually Cross who killed Dante without any proof or evidence?

3. Also Did Don Clericuzio actually believed that Pippi was shot by a mugger? I don't think he did. He is a wise man and smart enough to know that Pippi is too dangerous for even a mugger to conquer over

I'm guessing yo haven't read the book since you put it here and not in Other Puzo Novels

1. Skannet dies and Cross gets aligned just right in every way. Domenico was a smart man in all means. It was also done in a way that not regular thugs would've done it.

2. Because Domenico and his sons knew that Cross and Dante had their feuds. All of a sudden he isn't to be found and one of his Villas gets burned down, there's no such thing as a coincidence.

3. In the book it really shows how Domenico doesn't want Dante to go through the rough life. He is his favorite even after all the hate Dante has inside of him. Pipi killed his father, Dante killed him and Cross killed Dante. In other words, revenge is a bitch.

You forgot to answer Whether the the Don Knew that it was Dante and Jim Losey who killed Pippi. Now if he did so then why would he accept a dumb story about the Mugger?

I don't want to go get my book out so i'm going to put up educated answers...

He didn't believe it was a mugger, he just didn't want to believe Dante did it. There's no such thing as a coincidence I think the book puts it. He did accept, but didn't want to.

Then if he knew Dante had done it for sure then he knew Cross was his next target.

Why the heck didn't he bother to stop Dante from getting Cross (Even without harm)? Was he careless of Cross's life? or what?

And why the heck would he talk to Cross so harshly for killing his grandson even if he knew Dante would was going to get him? I don't think he really cares for Cross

Grandson vs. Nephew's Son

Whose health are you worried more about your Sons or your nephews?

That's a whole new differen situation. The Don considered Cross a grandson. He loved his family deeply. He should have stopped Dante from his scheming plans to kill cross.
