DOPESICK - OxyContin crime series

Dopesick focuses on "the epicenter of America's struggle with Opioid addiction" through the experiences of a small town doctor, a DEA agent and a big Pharma representative.

With the week off I binged this entire series.

It was really well done and a good cast.

Very accurate as well, what big pharma did to our country and the world they should be more government regulated and even taken over.

I watched it too recently. 8, 1-hour episodes. Definitely worth a watch if you're able to.

Thank god we still have them to approve the COVID vaccines for our safety!

Nah, they just avoid it completely but it still works.

Similar to the movie Traffic, as this series seemed to oversimplify things by venturing into territory usually reserved for after school specials. If you want the story of Perdue pharma, I’d check out The Crime of the Century documentary instead.
