100% like in Reservoir Dogs, Clockers and Pulp Fiction in just some roles like in the Irishman, he would steal the scene and not a main character..

I am hoping this movie will actually be what I had hoped the Irishman would be.

Between this and the Many Saints we could be in for a nice little renaissance of mob movies, which is well deserved after that god-awful Travolta disaster.

High hopes for both this and Many Saints.

We'll see.

I don't think Keitel can pull it off; needs to be way more subtle; it's Lansky, not Gotti.

Leo could pull it off.

Keitel has always delivered.
Naturally, I'm sure there will be a lot of "artistic liberties" taken,but that kind of goes with the "based on true events" type of story.

I Fucked up with my comment about Leo. I hadn't seen the trailer and thought you guys were making suggestions. I think Harvey Keitel will do well. Better than Richard Dreifus did in the HBO version.

Yeah Keitel is not a one trick pony he can play anything.one of my favorites is The Piano.

Fair enough. I like Keitel; will definitely view.
