Michael Mann might make Accardo movie and book

I hope they take their time and don't rush the book or the movie. Recently this has been the problem with most mob related movies and to some extent books also. A good example is To Kill an Irishman. So much potential and some star power in the cast but it came across as a somewhat low budget b-movie. Personally I would like to see a multi episode series like the Sopranos or Boardwalk Empire that would cover the Accardo/Giancana era. Maybe from the early to mid fifties through the murder of Giancana. No matter what time frame it covers or if it's a move or series lets just hope it's done the way it should be and its something that we all can enjoy. And just maybe it will be something on par or better than previous two epic shows I mentioned earlier.
