Thief ~ This movie was released shortly before I turned 18 and was the epitome of Chicagoness for it's time. James Caan gives a great performance and it's fun to spot landmarks throughout the film. Michael Mann pre-Miami Vice. First film appearance of Chicago cop with a gift for gab Dennis Farina.

Crime Story ~ Dennis Farina and Michael Mann again starts in Chicago rapidly proceeds to Vegas. Good Stuff. The pilot film/show is outstanding. David Caruso's early work among others.
