Is there a new Gotti movie coming out soon.

I have heard that there is a new Gotti movie coming out with Stallone playing Gotti. I think that is a bad choice what is everybodys thoughts.

He's way too old. Gotti turned 50 in October of 1990. He was arrested in December of 1990, and never saw the light of day again. Stallone is 64 and looks terrible from plastic surgery. Unless it's about Gotti's latter prison years, fuggetaboutit!

Yeah if its after GOtti got beaten, then Stallone would fit perfect. But i would like to see a different actor. But i dont think the movie will good, Junior is involved in the script so that cant be good.

I guess he has to do something theses days since he supposedly not in it anymore.

They should focus on more interesting gangsters than the already exploited Gotti.

I guess they have already played the Gotti card out, but that seems to be what people want these days all about Gotti.

They should do a movie on Bill Cutolo, Scarpa, Gaspipe, Massino, Persico. Those are some interesting stories...

It would be nice to see something different about some other pepole.

A wonderful movie would be about the rise and fall of Scarfo, and highlight of Skinny Merlino. Or a movie about the undercover FBI Agent Jack Garcia, infiltrating the Gambinos. Another would be about the rise of Massino..

The Jack Garcia thing would be a good one. I see that stuff on YouTube all the time.

I'd love to see a Scarfo movie. That would make GoodFellas look like an altar boy.

I understand that the Jack Garcia is indeed being made into a movie. The last I heard was that Benicio Del Toro will be playing Garcia. Word is that he wants to put the weight on naturally other than wearing a "fat suit". I could be wrong but that is the last I heard on this project.

Any source on that? It seems that the mafia genre is back. We can expect a couple of decent movies in 2011 and 2012. Allready looking forward to it.

John Travolta in talks to play Gotti.

Ive also read reports that James Franco will play Gotti jr.

I'm conflicted about the casting of Travolta. Is really the only option, I can think of a hundred other actors who could play this role. Is an Irish homosexual scientologist really the guy to play Gotti, one of the most feared mobsters of all time?

The media is reporting that Junior Gotti/Victoria have both approached Travolta about playing Gotti in a big screen film.

I thought they already did one Gotti film with Armand Assante playing Gotti. He nailed the part. Unfortnately, they made he look like Robin Hood/Good guy gangster and Gravano the evil one.

John Travolta is a terrible actor, right up there with Charley Sheen, Nicolas Cage, Keanu Reeves, etc.

travolta might do a decent job.....who knows he's had his ups and his downs....look at great flicks like urban cowboy, pulp fiction, get shorty...but then again he did partake in the boy in the plastic bubble look whos talking 1 2 and 3, and wild hogs.....

The latest news on that is that Li Lohan is in the running for the Victoria Gotti part, I heard that is who Victoria would pick if her vote counted for anything!! I'm kinda glad that Sly isn't going to be given the chance to destroy Gotti Sr.'s memory with his limited acting ability, sorry no offense!! But after thinking about Travolta and some of his past roles, the man is an amazing actor, true to his trade and himself most of all, he should be able to pull of a decent Sr., I personally liked Armand Assante's version in "Gotti"! The magic question that NO ONE seems to be asking, is WHO is going to play Jr. Gotti in the film??? I haven't heard anything regarding that role, has anyone else heard anything???

Benecio Del Toro would be a perfect Jack Garcia, that would make for an interesting movie!!

Well, Benicio would have to put on about 350 pounds for that to work. If you want an accurate portrayal that is.
