Holy Shit!!! My alter ego is dead!

Sorry to hear this. I always liked Chris Penn's performances. He made "The Funeral," an otherwise plodding film, outshining Benicio Del Toro and Christopher Walken. He was, alas, underused in "Mulholland Falls," which I liked better, but so was Michael Madsen.

That is so sad. You just never know. I remember watching him when he was younger in a Eastwood movie called Pale Rider. God speed to his family.

One of my favorite scenes in Footloose is when Kevin Bacon teaches Chris Penn how to dance. Absolutely priceless.

Don't know about him being a great actor, but he was better than some. I dug him in Reservoir Dogs. Not as good as some, but better than some, too. Have they figured out if it was a heart attack or what??
