Favorite Star Wars character?

Im in a Star Wars mood, so heres a new poll

Darth Vader, not Christensen's Anakin. Vader holds an amazing screen presence and Jones' voice is excellent for him.

Boba Fett would be my second favorite. Darth Maul after him.

Darth Vader! Just his presence on screen, with "his" music playing in the background is just great. "The Godfather Of The Galaxy!" A fantastic character. His inner battle between good and evil is what also makes him very interesting!

Really though my favorite character is Darth Maul, I wish he had a bigger role in the movie.

My fave is Darth Vader. He's been my fave since I first saw him on screen when I was just 8 years old. My mom can remember taking me to see Star wars and when darth Vader first appeared she claims I started cheering. I've rooted for the bad guys in movies ever since.

Darth Vader was an awesome character, and I love the transformation from Anakin to Vader. However, I voted for Boba Fett today because I thought he was badass and he had a cool ship.

I voted for Chewbacca but I like all the characters. I think chewy should have gotten a medal like Luke and Hans did at the end of Star Wars. I can't think of what they are called for the life of me but I also like the little hairy people in the Return Of the Jedi.

Han Solo. He made Star Wars what it was.

I agree with mostly everybody else is Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader

Its gotta be Anakin/Darth Vader....at the end of the day all 6 Episodes tell HIS story, from innocent child, to the Dark Side, and in the end his redemption. The best baddie ever, because there was more to him than just evil.

If we could have chosen 2 characters, though, I would have chosen Yoda as my second choice. Especially in Sith he really comes into his own.

Obi Wan, Palpatine, Anakin/Vader.

But I don't know, Luke is my favourite overall.

Like most I voted for Anakin/Darth. How come they left Jar Jar Binks off the poll?

I voted Vader too, but The Emperor is also a very well character. When he is trying to convince Luke to join the Dark Side, 'smiling'. But still having those icy eyes, full with hate.

Thats very true, DS. I think there must be a basic human interest in seeing how someone can fall from innocence and be redeemed in the end.
