You might not believe this when I was in high school in the Bronx it was run by Marist brothers and lay teachers.
One of the brothers was foreign born a math teacher.
We did it to him on the black board everyone in the class saw that bit. They all started to laugh.
The brother kept saying no this is impossible. We said no it isn't we did it all three ways.
