Dumbest murders with most absurd motives

I just read about these 2 crimes in Russia and can't help but share the laugh with others. I know murder is a horrible thing by itself, but the circumstances here are so absurd I don't know whether to laugh or to cry....

1) A man in the city of Rostov in 2013 shot another man following an argument.....over the philosopher Immanuel Kant's theories!

2) This year, in a suburb of the city of Kaluga, a 76-year-old man has stabbed to death his friend whom he had been drinking with, after the other man told him he is an American secret agent and sends to Obama all the information he gathers around.

Have you heard about other crimes that dumb?

I remember the dumbest way someone ever tried to dispose of a body after a murder.

My mother worked around the corner from where we lived in the 50s.

There was a Spanish guy who worked in her place. He was married and had two young children.

He goes home for lunch unexpectedly and catches his wife fucking another man. He pulls a knife and the guy runs out. Leaving the wife their alone. In a fit of rage he kills his wife. The kids were do home from school at around 3:30pm.

So he has to get rid of the body he lived in a tenement like the rest of us.

He starts dismembering his wife in the bathroom. Cutting pieces of his wife an flushing her down the toilet.

Well he backed up the toilet. Causing a flood. Water went through the floor to the ceiling of the apartment below him.

Well that is how he got caught. He was arrested but got a low bail so he could watch his two kids. They did not put them in an orphanage.

He even went back to work. He did not get what he would have got today either. How much actual time he got I can't remember.
