Anyone dressing up for Halloween?

Anyone dressing up for Halloween? - 10/30/14 07:49 PM

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I already got my costume, wore it to a party a couple weeks ago. I'm going as a flapper/gangster girl. Who else is dressing up? Take a pic and post.

Nope no dressing up, i like your outfit though. I usually celebrate halloween by staying home and just eating a couple pieces of candy grin

Years ago I guess kids in Jersey, not sure if in NY too, used to go "Beggin for Thanksgiving". They would go door to door to get treats, usually fruit or nickels is what they'd get. That's what my parents told me. They grew up in 40's and 50's.

What's a Luigi? Is that some kind of Italian stereotype?

Re: Anyone dressing up for Halloween? - 11/01/14 08:07 PM

Haha pizzaman I was definitely not trying to offend you. As NJ stated above Luigi is a character from Super Mario Brothers. I made the mistake of putting an "a" in front of Luigi so it sounded like someone trying to do a bogus Italian accent.

And alfanosgirl mom approved? Haha the gloves and fishnets would say otherwise wink

Dressed up as the Riddler. Each year it seems like fewer and fewer trick or treaters walk down the street. The Business district is always packed from 5 to 8 on Halloween.

I dressed up as a poor, middle aged, stressed father of four.

In other news young Matty wore a zombie outfit....

If I was feeling ok. I would have dressed up as a can of Campbell's soup.

My grand daughter thinks its funny.

One year when Osama first went on the FBI most wanted list, and that was a long time ago before 9/11. People dressed up as him. Top was supported so it made you look real tall.

Wasn't it don't talk to strangers?

On candy on hallow winie you can take it. But parents had to check it before they can eat it.

Remember the treat but remember the trick when you did not get anything or no one was home.

Had socks with powder or chalk in it they get hit with it or hit the door with it. Throw eggs at people or the door.
