Amnesty?

Amnesty? - 07/16/14 09:12 PM

I just have to speak on this. I mean really? Is there no end to the delusion of altruism from the democratic party? And the guilt tripping, like "dont you care about poor children". Yes I do, I care about the poor children in THIS COUNTRY. This country is struggling and its citizens are struggling enough as is, we do not need to give amnesty to 20 million more people.
ENOUGH ALREADY.

Without getting into Democrat or Republican, lib versus con or whatever, I will say that if anyone is amnestied, it would be undeserved mercy on the part of any Congress or President.

If you broke the law naturally you accepted the punishment in advance. In the case of illegal entry into a country, the minimum punishment is that you can not stay and you as an illegal alien had to be prepared for that.

I have a friend who lives near the southern tip of Texas on the border. He is married to a Mexican girl so he isn't some redneck talking. He told me that you can look out every 15 minutes and see an illegal floating across the Rio Grand river in an inner tube. The Border patrol used to round them up and drive them to the border and let them walk back into Mexico because the administration wanted to effect the statistics in their favor. Now, they just let them go. They aren't all just from Mexico and are bringing in diseases which are not being publicized. They are now finding evidence of islamists in the desert. Just try going into Mexico this way

I knew some Italians that were considered illegal. So make them citizens as well.

bigboy, that immigration issue that you just posted about, [ bringing in diseases, floating over on an inner tube] outrages me. now if you can remember the aids epidemic, which started when jimmy carter let the hatii refugees in this country. im afraid its really to late to do anything, the rich want the illegals in here for the cheap labor, theres 8 million illegals in calif, many millions more throughout the country. we don't have the resources to send them home. this problem should have been solved many years ago. im terrified of the diseases they bring over, as im elderly. and islamists in the desert fill me with fear. what do you think is the answer to this grave problem?.

America needs immigrants--legal immigrants. We can't reward people who enter America illegally with amnesty, and expect them to make good citizens.

Definitive answer. Short. Sweet. And to the point.

Binnie I am pretty sure aids did not enter the US because they let Hatians into the country from Hati.

At that time they tried to say that those people were all drug dealers, and we would have an increase in the drug trade if we let them in. Which was more bullshit.

Our government tried to make it similiar to Castro when he let all the criminals in Cuba leave Cuba for the United states.

I got to know a lot of Haitians after they came here through soccer. I found them to be hard working people who were friendly and who were very family oriented. Their kids had mothers and fathers. The only thing Haitian soccer players did not understand was when they were offside.

footreads, its my understanding according to everything that I have ever read on the internet, it came to the u.s. from Haiti. im sure if you google it, you will arrive at the same conclusion. it is accepted by anyone who has studied the disease that its u.s. origin was Haiti.

It might be true that HIV was spread faster in certain US cities like NY due to arrival of Haitians, but that's not the epicenter of the US epidemic.

The epicenter of the US epidemic, so far as I know, was the polio vaccinations of gay men in NYC decades ago.
