Mine is "Dizzy" (by Tommy Roe). I think there may be some truth to all this.

LOL I don't know. I checked my sisters and she is "Mr. Tambourine Man." Doesn't really fit.

"Every Breath You Take" by The Police is mine. Hmm... I guess that explains why I stalked my wife until she agreed to marry me? Oh well - I can't argue with that one! 25 years later and she is still mine! LOL!

Yeah, Tis. I turned 18 in October of 1977. My parents just couldn't have sprung for heat the prior January, could they?

On the day i was 18 in the year 2000 Be with You by Enrique Iglesias was number 1..

I can't say I remember that particular song. Though I do remember Iglesias.

Personally, I think we should ignore the idea that your life's theme song would be whatever was #1 on your eighteenth birthday.

I can think of a few songs that I might think were mine, and my birthday wouldn't necessarily have much to do with it.

The classic They're Coming To Take Me Away, Ha-Ha would be near the top of the list!

But my eighteenth birthday? That would be Brother Louie by The Stories. Not my life theme song at all. In fact, it reminds me of a particularly unpleasant incident that happened a couple of months earlier. The less I think about it, the better.

Strange, but the more I think about it, albums come to mind. More than individual songs, for some reason. At least at this hour of the morning. And not necessarily from the exact month and year of my birthday. For now, I'll settle on Colors of the Day - The Best of Judy Collins. Other choices would be revealing too much.

To Sir With Love, by Lulu. Not sure how that fits my life. I remember the movie. At the time it was very popular and I thought it was very cool. Sidney Poitier was great.

I remember that movie well MC. I think I saw it a couple times. Wonder what ever happened to Lulu. Along with To Sir With Love, I remember her version of "Shout". She had a great voice for that song.

In November 2010 she hosted the BBC TV series "Rewind the 60s" . Each episode focused on a year during the 1960s highlighting the social and political issues of the decade as well as music and interviews with personalities from the decade.[27]

Thanks for the update on Lulu Oli. I wonder if that tv show was on the BBC channel that I get. I would have liked to seen it.

MC, that's one of my all-time favorite songs! The cast of "Glee" covered it in their Season 1 finale and it made me cry. Maybe you're "Sir".
