i just finished the book. and i have been wanting to read another mario puzo book. which do u think i should read next?

The 'scilian' is the sequal to the Godfather so thats probably best. If you check out the 'Other Puzo Novels' forum, you'll find lots of stuff

Welcome aboard gf88. Fool's die was great because it gave inside Vegas info, but then Casino came out and did the same. Omerta and Last Don were good, but GF is the best.

I highly recommend Omerta I have to read The Last Don soon though, hehehe.

I agree with FH that "The Sicilian" is the logical next read, but my opinion is that it's the best of an indifferent lot.

The Sicilian, The Last Don, and Omerta are the ones I've read and were very good. Anyone of those are a good choice for your next read.

I recomend The Sicilian (which i'm currently reading now).

If The Godfather's a 10 out of a 1-10 basis, what would you all rate "The Sicilian"?

i'll rate it an 8.5 or 9, very close to the Godfather . . .

Omerta was very good, it would make a great movie if made well, The Sicilian and The Last Don were also very very good

I would say go on the Sicilian next. It is almost as good as The Godfather.
