Help me please!

I'm a uni student and doing my final english thesis on the Mario Puzo. Having read The Godfather, The Last Don and Omerta', I'm asked to compare the three and write about the differences and similarities and anything curious and unusual noticed. Perhaps the use of irony or symbolism. The truth is I need help!! It's one thing to sit back and enjoy the book, but analysing it...I find it challenging! So, I ask you kind people to offer your help if possible....my life depends on this!!!..What do you think?

This is a good question, but it would take an enormous amount of time to lay out the facts and compare them. The best thing to do is write what you understood about the story in each, and then simply disect the subtle differences in between. I once had to do the same thing w/ the GF movies, and it took a while but it was worth it, I wrote a nice 7500 word draft on them
