"Cupid-faced"?

Puzo keeps referring to Corleone boys as "cupid-faced". Does anybody know what this means?

Would I know if I were Sicilian or Italian?

Great book; I can't put it down, even though I hate reading, and haven't read a book for fun since I was a kid.

If memory serves me, I believe that Puzo only referred to Sonny as having Cupid features..... Correct me if I'm wrong, as I'm sure somebody will if I am.

At the bottom of page 79, Fredo is called cupid faced too, while he's weeping over his father's body.

Not sure about Michael, though.

Actually, Puzo says that Michael didn't have the cupid features like the Don's other children.
