The Wire

I'm rewatching the series again since it's been a few years. Just finished season 2.
Definitely up there as a contender for the greatest tv show of all time.

Other shows are more entertaining like The Sopranos and Breaking Bad, but The Wire stories and characters were as realistic as possible.

The wire had a certain rawness to it that the sopranos didn't have. The primary influence on the show's look is documentary filmmaking.
