Mad Men - 05/06/15 11:38 PM

What are the thoughts of the last episode? Until I started watching this series, I thought Tony Soprano was the ideal t.v. character to be. Don Draper makes millions, dresses to the nines, gets drunk at work, and bangs down countless beautiful women (to the extent, he has an answering service in the last season). Does the opening animation have anything to do with the final episode? Does it mean that through all his ups and downs, he finally finds tranquility in doing what he thinks is best? I recall someone having called S.O.A.'s final episode to the T. Let's get some speculation going!

Didn't catch finale til just now (On On-Demand). I have watched since the beginning. The last couple seasons I watched, but it kind of got boring. However, the series finale I thought was very good, showing what direction everyone was going and tying things up.

It looked as tho Don was gonna do himself in, until the very end at the "Yoga" session. AND, ending with the "I'd Like To Buy The World A Coke" ad was great. lol (One thing I loved about the show is there accuracy as to that time period). Was it Peggy who had just asked him "don't you want the Coke account?"

As far as the beginning of the show, with Don (presumably) falling, yea, I suppose the finale was just that. By the slight smile on Don's face, in the end, one suspects he did land on his feet (or on the couch lol).
