Yeah I saw this a while back. I really wish TPTB at whatever studio own the IP would give it to Jane and this director. A gritty Punisher flick is what we need!
I dunno I thought WAR ZONE was the ultraviolent Punisher movie I had been waiting for, even if it was trying to emulate the black comedy absurdity of the Garth Ennis comic book run.
But yeah I finally watched this short film recently, and I enjoyed it. Good production values, awesome Perlman cameo.
You know those people at Marvel are now prepping a new TV series tying into the universe of those movies. Thomas Jane could very well guest star as Mr. Castle for an episode.
Hopefully he'll have a clean shirt for that gig.
