Peanut Butter - 07/13/05 01:48 AM

Me and my friends are having a big fight over this - so please vote for the best option.

If you vote for "Jelly" please be specific what kind....plain Jelly or Jam / Marmalade - and also which flavor

Doesn't get any better than an old fashion PB & J sandwich. However, I would eat a Peanut Butter & Banana sanwich when I would run at a meet for Cross-Country back in high school but I never really liked it

I chose PB&J, but I also love peanut butter and marshmallow sandwiches.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm...peanut butter (in best Homer Simpson voice)

Although I do love an occasional Fluffernutter, my preference is plain peanut butter sandwich, but it's got to be Jif, and it should be on squishy white bread.

I also love to just eat peanut butter out of the jar with a parfait spoon.

I seldom have a PBJ sandwich, but rather, one slice of bread with PBJ. I prefer a major brand (Jiff, Skippy) of PB. I've tried the cheaper brands and there is a difference. As far as jelly, strawberry or grape. I don't like marmalade at all. Oh, has to be on white bread too.

I often have toast with PB, in which case I don't put jelly on it. I don't mind scooping some out of the jar either. It's soooo good!!! :p

I've never had PB+honey, ever. I've tried the Elvis sandwich, it isn't bad. Plain PB is good as well (always crunchy, however). And Fluffernutter is also superfluous (though I prefer to have Nutella over Peanut Butter any day of the week).

I voted for PBJ, in either - PB+grape (classic), PB+strawberry, PB+orange_marmalade, or PB+blackberry (mmm, bitches!)

I voted PB & J. I love peanut butter. I like it just plain, on a spoon, out of the jar. It's a good snack on celery sticks too. I love seeing what people do after they eat a mouth full and they try to get it off their gums.

Watching dogs eating it too is as equally awesome.

Would you mind confirming this with the "buttercup" flower test?

PB & J, of course...just about any kind of jelly except raspberry. Ugh.

You know what? I've actually become addicted to the all natural stuff, without added sugar, or hydrogenated, and it has less carbs. I think Smuckers brand makes it. It's not as sweet or creamy as what you get in a Peter Pan or Jif brand, but I love the taste. Mmm. Wash it down with a cold glass of milk.
