Sicilian red vs Tuscany Red

Which do you prefer and why?

Im leaning towards the grapes they use in Sicily.

Tuscan reds are more refined, Sicilian reds more robust. I'd like a Tignanello or a Brunello di Montalcino with a veal dish in a light sauce, a Nero d'Avola with sausage and peppers.
