My mom just got a bottle of wine called: Marques de Caceres, it is a Dry Rose Wine, Year: 2004
any of our wine connoisseurs know anything about it?

Wait for 7 years. You will be legal to drink and the wine would be aged
again, it is my mom's I just want to know anything about it, like if it is a good wine etc.

I've heard (and apparently Geoff has heard of it too) that in the year 2000 there will be a mighty search program called "Google" and you can use it to find information about things like this. But, until then...

Marques de Caceres is a red wine from the Rioja district of Spain. It's very widely distributed in the US. It's pretty dry, medium-bodied, improves somewhat with age. Spanish wines are coming into America in tremendous variety and volume. IMO, there are plenty of Spanish wines from the Rioja and other districts that are better values than Marques de Caceres. Panarroz is really good at about $7 here. You can find it at World Market, if you have one there.
