3 degrees of Goodfellas - 10/19/10 05:26 PM
variation of the 6 degrees of kevin bacon bacon game...where supposedly any actor can be linked to bacon by six films.
ground rules for this are-
have to list the GF character's name as well as the (first)actor's real name
actors have to actually appear in a scene with and exchange dialogue with each other.
the films should be US theatrical releases
separate steps for each actor
the fewer links the better, but no more than 3....
if you can complete the links with 4 or less steps total, you create the next list of 3 actors

have to list the GF character's name as well as the (first)actor's real name
actors have to actually appear in a scene with and exchange dialogue with each other.
the films should be US theatrical releases
separate steps for each actor
I know that Stacks(SLJ) was in Pulp Fiction with Bruce Willis...I know that they were both in a bar scene with each other visiting Marcellus...but don't recall them exchanging dialogue.

Replace Pulp with Unbreakable - problem solved. Willis and SLJ exchanged lots of dialogue there.

this was THE hardest one so far....the ones I tapped out don't count because those were impossible because I knew I couldn't get those....this one I did in my head with 4-5 steps so getting it down to 3 was hard

WNA was bad, but years later Deniro was able to show his comedic timing and chops in some well written roles..He's a funny guy(funny how?)

it's cool,Blonde. Deniro is masterful actor, he does most things great. He does Southern accidents HORRIBLY though so any dialogue he does with that accent is memorable(and funny). We always remember those films.lines and scenes.*

I don't disagree that Eammon Walker could have been a better actor in the Concussion role, but studios will sacrifice quality for money 10 times out of 10, and Will Smith still moves the needle for enough people out there (myself not included).

Rounders is one of those movies I have virtually committed to memory. Jannsen worked in the poker club Teddy KGB (John Malkovich) ran. Mike (Matt Damon) introduced Worm (Norton) to her and provided him with a small bankroll. When that ran out, Worm convinced her to very hesitantly extend him a loan on Mike's tab (hence their conversation).

The key is the first movie, which I saw with an actual member of the USPS. Very few others saw this.
