The Steelers cost me $10. I need a 4 point win from the Rams to have a good week.

Well, how does Big Ben throw for 452 yards and 3 touchdowns and lose?

Madonne, my Steelers secondary has been a problem for years and continued to be so today.

A bad week for me, however I did enjoy the nascar race with Kazlowski winning at 12-1

I watched the replay today, was so pissed I missed that last night.

I like the Steelers and would even root for them if they get to them but........ this is another level.
They will not.

Rams would WELD the steelers the turf.

I care little for the Patriots, but care even less for the Chiefs. Go New England. In the NFC, I think the Rams will bowl over the Saints.

Here's my thought...all I know about the Rams is that Roman Gabriel was once the quarterback b4 he came to Phila. Does that show my age? LOL....

Gabriel was quite a good quarterback as were so many players who have faded from professional football memory.

I think the Patriots will win, but I don't want them to because their SB victories will then equal my Steelers SB victories for the most ever.

Got 4 & 7 Twice on sep pools. Hopefully they will bring a few bucks,

All scores are Pats / Rams
$25 boxes

3/5
6/7
7/4

Will post 20’s tomorrow.
I am having more fun with these smaller boxes than the large boxes I would get in years past.

Just gave 2.5 points to rams.

Walk in the park, I figure this my Bonus return bet of the year.

Re: 2018 NFL Football - 02/04/19 06:53 PM

I'll never understand today's coaches throwing long in short yardage situations nearly all of the time. You need 3 yards for the 1st down. There's probably a hundred plays in the playbook for that situation. But no. You drop your QB back 7 steps and take the sack. On 2nd and long situations, when they could pick up 4 or 5 yards to create a 3rd and short, they instead go 20 yards downfield and incomplete, creating 3rd and long. It's just stupid football. Interestingly enough, Belichick is the only coach who doesn't do this. He has no qualms about putting you to sleep with 4 yard plays. I really think the assumption that Sean McVay is a genius was premature. Jared Goff looked like he didn't even want to be there. Maybe a guilty conscience from the refs gifting him the NFC title.

Re: 2018 NFL Football - 02/05/19 07:37 PM

Very interesting.

I think they should have given the MVP to one of the punters....LoL they were the only ones doing any work.

Re: 2018 NFL Football - 02/05/19 10:18 PM

Long story short, Sean McVay is not a genius. Not even close. He's just one of the best among a horribly bad lot of coaches. Bill Belichick takes advantage of dumb coaches. Sets traps for them. That's his recipe for success.
