a question about teh video game "Mafia"

i was wondering what system is this game for? i never really heard of it outside of this site but it migth be worth a try. does anyone know what system(s) its for? thanks

Great Story. Set In the 30's with a Crime Family. Ive Onl Played the Demo Though.

The best PC game I own. Completed it a long time ago. It plays just like a film. Brilliant graphics, top-notch sound, and excellent gameplay. Captures the era beautifully. I can't praise the game enough!

Are you referring to the Racing level? This is, IMO, the most difficult level on the whole game! The way I completed it is using a shortcut on the track. Scarface, I'll PM you in a minute or two (just find the website from which I got this shortcut hint ).

Sweet deal.

AMAZING game. Completed it a few months ago after reading fantastic reviews about it.

Don't be fooled into thinking it is along the lines of GTA, it is not a patch on this almost Godfather like storyline in places.

Fantastic details throughout, in fact I've just been inspired to go back and have a go at a shoot out level!

That racing car level was a complete swine until I found the shortcut. Wasted hours trying to control the damn thing!

do you get to roam around the city like in GTA?

the car racing(5 laps) in the racing circuit sucks. any tips on how to finish first place? grazie!

yes.

It's only on PC currently, but it comes to PS2 in jauary and x-box in the spring.

Re the race track, daft level in amongst the 100 or so that are on the game!

Do a websearch for a cheat, only feasible way I could find out how to complete it!

Basically, there is a short cut road, on the left hand side after you have been round a couple of bends (months since I even thought about this horror of a level)

Well worth it just to get past it and back onto the main thrust of the story and the game.

Loads of decent shoot em up and Godfather like levels for you still to do!

Its coming to ps2 before x box and I've owned it for computer for like a year.
