Shit I missed it! Did they show them in order and show all of them or just random ones?

They are going in order. They finished season 2. Tomorrow will be season 3 at 11am. I missed part of season 1 and 2. Will be missing most of the seasons anyway. Season 3 and 4 I dont have so I am recording them.

Damn it. My 3 months of free hbo just expired end of December. I’ve been wanting to watch the whole series again.

There is so many great things about this show. The music, humor, darkness, violence.

One of the best ever

I started on season 3 myself and recording them all. Better than nothing and now got the DVR recording them if they come on

Re: Sopranos marathon - 01/08/19 03:44 PM

A while back I bought the box set on blu ray for $49 at Best Buy. It's basically the dvd sets transferred over to blu, there's nothing new extras wise in the individual seasons, but for 50 bucks I couldn't pass that up. I still see it at that price every once in a while, might be worth it to keep an eye out. The 10th of January marks the 20 year anniversary of the show's premiere. That seems crazy. I remember watching this show with the same group of friends every Sunday, was definitely an event. I even managed to see the season premiere of "Two Tonys" at a local cinema.

Answer to todays Final Jeopardy question = The Sopranos

Re: Sopranos marathon - 01/12/19 01:01 AM

Classic show. I always wondered, who would be the boss if Tony did die?

Re: Sopranos marathon - 01/12/19 01:32 AM

Most likely Paulie I would imagine. Seniority and he was Underboss at one time. Slim pickings over there in Jersey.

Re: Sopranos marathon - 01/12/19 04:39 AM

Paulie would be acting boss, but I feel Lorenzo would be boss. It all depends on what Carlo gives the feds. Silvio is in a coma, even if he comes out of it, he would be arrested on a number of charges.

Re: Sopranos marathon - 01/12/19 03:02 PM

Larry Barese? I wonder how the family would fare without Tony as the boss. He appeared to be the only one fit for the position. I think Christopher at times showed flashes as Tony was grooming him but obviously his drug habit dragged him down.

Re: Sopranos marathon - 01/13/19 09:29 AM

chris as a underboss (without drugs at all !!! )
sill as no 3
paulie capo (furio still there)
albert capo
ralph capo (no horse stuff) (jackie jr getting a chance and guidence from tony and ralph and start his criminal career)
vito getting is own crew (?) or still with the aprile crew but as a very high ranking soldier
junior adviso
raymond capo
bobby capo
then the ny war would probably been prevented
imagine that !!! the dimeo/sopranos family would rule !!!

Re: Sopranos marathon - 01/14/19 04:58 AM

Not sure if they would rule in a war against the Lupertazi family but with Leotardo as boss, I think they win it a lot easier than they did initially because he was acting irrationally and his own men knew it. That’s why Butchie sided against him. Two of Tony’s biggest earners were Ralphie and Vito and they were both killed.
