In my opinion if, let's say Carlo, had killed Vito first I reckon Jersey would've gotten a little street credibility but later on Phil would've fed his guys bullshit about how it was "his right" just like the Tony Blundetto hit was "his right".

In my opinion the only thing it would've changed is Phil's inner circles opinion on Jersey
