Junior and approaching the captains? - 09/14/15 07:15 PM

I made another thread recently and it made me think of another question I had. When Junior sends Richie to try and get captains to side with them against Tony and they say no like Albert, do you think Junior would of had more success winning them over had he gone himself to talk than sending Richie? And if so would he have possibly won and killed Tony? I know he did it to distance himself but had he gone himself would the war have ended much differently I wonder.

The entire reason Tony became boss in the first place was because when the capos had to choose between Junior and him, they chose him. During his short tenure as boss, Junior was very unpopular. No way would anyone join him against Tony.

Junior saw the writing on the wall. He knew times were changing and he insisted on trying to have Tony clipped.
