Furio - 09/18/14 05:29 PM

I always wondered why there was no repercussions for Furio just up and leaving.

All we got was Tony saying the "stupid zip had went home". Surely Tony would have clocked his behavior as odd especially with the attempted push into the helicopter then just disappearing.

Would there have not been repercussions for going AWOL ?

i am guessing furio wasn't officially made inside of tony's family before he left, just an associate of his family borrowed to tony from annalisa (female neapolitan camorra boss) because furio represented her business interest in a international car theft partnership with tony. furio was a made guy in naples and still a member of the naples camorra family while he was working for tony so i am guessing tony couldn't touch furio anyway without permission from the other side or he would risk a business falling out and bad blood with naples.

He basically vanished. Wkno knows where he went and I think the New Jersey mob had more problems and to litle resources to chase after him. for all we know he went back to Italy and if Tony tried to get their help they might of told him off possibly. Who knows.

That's probably right. Tony does indicate that he has people looking for Furio who will kill him if they find him, but given that killing Furio would probably sour relations with Naples, it could just be him saving face and acting like a tough guy.

Look at the way Tony used Furio strong arm work. To say he was under used is an under statement. What did Furio actually do to make money for Tony why did he want Furio so bad?

If Furio was real the only reason he would like being in the US was because he like the TV's here. though they are not made here. If tv's and entertainment centers were that important to Furio he should have joined Yakuza in Japan.

Wait Carmela is here smile

Maybe he like the garbage that NY sends to Jersey smile

That view is fantastic much better then Italy.?

Tony took less a car to get Furio.

Totally agree wanye. Lucky for furio that he did leave or he would of prolly slipped up with Carmela and ended up getting whacked out for it. Carmela was hot for furio.

How it should have ended was across the table Furio is back disguised as an old man reading his paper, but under his trench coat he whips out a pump action shottie and blows Tony away.

Then suddenly this song starts playing on the juke box in the restaurant...

Got to laugh at the scene where Tony has just brought Furio over and hes having the party for him.

Furios going on about how great cable television is and Tony's just thinking im having none of this shit, don't worry about it ill send Furio to get the money back.
