A. Because his son said that Tony saw John as a friend and Carmine thought this statement was dumb?

B. Because of the situation of John and Tony being friends

C. Because of the entire HUD situation

I can't remember the scene fully but does Carmine not say that line after Carmine Jr says Tonys abit of a poser, saying my appraiser this etc.

Probably because Carmine thought The Sopranos were nothing compared to there family and if it was anyone's appraiser it was NY's in his eyes.

Carmine saw the Sopranos as glorified crew, and the HUD situation certainly didn't help things.
