When Sil slaps Tracee around

When Sil slaps Tracee around - 01/02/14 09:40 AM

And Ralph is sitting in the window laughing... I've watched the series at least five times and that part always makes me laugh for some reason.

That and the part where Chris tells Sil he's going to dye his hair like Paulie, when he becomes acting capo... Sil is just like "...okay."

Any random humor you guys picked up on?

[Edit] I see an older post that is essentially the same as this one. Disregard.

Re: When Sil slaps Tracee around - 01/02/14 02:41 PM

yeah i cracked up laughing at that part as well.

some of my favorite parts that i laugh at every single time:
in the episode "in camelot" season 5: when johnny boy's old girlfriend is singing happy birthday mr president to tony.his face is priceless

in the season 2 episode when they go to italy:
tony just got done talking to anna lisa and paulie calls him over out of nowhere and says "i gotta hoof it back to the excelsior, i gotta take a wicked shit"

season 2 bust out:
the look on scatinos face when he see's tony coming into his office to slap him around

think my all time favorite laugh is when johnny sac is in the can talkin to his brother in law and the guy can't talk in code at all, and johnny sac is like "what the fuck is chicory?""no i mean an actual fuckin cake!"

and everytime georgie gets beat up by tony for seemingly no other reason than being stupid.

when Tony catches Janice fucking Ralph

Tony: I was in the neighborhood, I was just at Baccala's house

Janice: Oh ya, hows he doing?

Tony: Well, hes fat....

One scene i found hilarious was when Tony starts an analogy on Augustus Caesar (Octavius) hinting towards uncle junior becoming a fairer boss, but it goes completely over his head lol .

For me it's got to be when Tony and Phil Leotardo are in a car chase after Phil didn't pay Tony his cash. So they're driving and it's all tense, then you suddenly see Phil throwing ice cream through the window.

Pilot episode, Tony runs over that guy in Chris's car and then starts punching him "We had coffee."

When Paulie suffocates his mom's friend.

Lastly,
"We buried him, under a hill, overlooking a brook."

Re: When Sil slaps Tracee around - 03/20/14 03:12 PM

When Tony tells Meadow he had little choice but to be mobbed up

That acting out was "selling patio furniture on route 22"

I always thought the scene Tony giving the rundown to Bobby about Uncle June,"why don't you get outta here before i shove ya quotations book up ya fat fuckin ass" lol

Paulie always kills me, just the things he says.

"The boss of this family says you're santa clause, you're santa clause, now shut da fuck up about it"

or when Paulie starts going off about public bathrooms and wet shoe laces rofl.

In the shoelaces rant, just before Silvio tells Paulie to shut up, Hesh is smiling while listening to Paulies rant like he has been laughing.

When Paulie sniffs Adrianas panties she looks like she has been laughing or is suppressing her amusement about the scene.

I always liked when Sil and Carlo killed Fat Dom and at the end Sil just looks around and yells "FUCK!!!"

Also, the whole episode that the mother dies is filled with funny stuff like Carmela ripping shots and Tony dealing with Janice's "California bullshit"

So many:
Season 1:
Chris about stealing watches off a Fed-Ex truck:
"I take a lickin', but keep on tickin' "

Season 2:
Richie: "Me and Janice, we got history"
Tony: "Yeah, Israel and fucking Palestine!"

Season 3:
Pine Barrens
Chris: "Interior decorator? His apartment looked like shit"

Season 4:
Tony about the HUD Scam:
Tony: "The American Taxpayer pays for Airport Security, look how that turned out"

Season 5:
Tony B about Joey Peeps getting greased:
"Long John Silver maybe?" (one of my favorites)

Season 6:
Carlo: "Catching, not pitching?"

Tone you give this guy a golf club, he'll probably try to fuck it - Paulie

Re: When Sil slaps Tracee around - 06/19/14 01:01 AM

Funniest moment for me will always be Ralph's prank call to Paulie's mom, followed by Paulie explaining how they had to calm Ma down.

Another great moment is when Tony grabs the russian guy by the balls who was telling Irena in russian to find a real man, then says to the guy "You got a problem outside of that shirt"

I remember my mother and father arguing about my fathers feeble minded brother.

I always thought they were meaning you.(looks at Junior)

Season Two, Bust Out.

The flag-saluting citizen who was the Bevilaqua eyewitness is sitting at home, reading Nozick with his binky covering him. Wifey's reading the newspaper, and comes across the article indicating that the Bevilaqua hit wasn't drug-related, but rather high-ranking mob-related. In the midst of the meltdown to find the cop's business card, the wifey piles on:

"But YOU had the big man!"

Something funny for me was when Christopher's friend was whacked in season one. He looked like Jim Carrey from Dumb and Dumber. Also when Uncle Junior is telling jokes in the crazy bin

And then Paulie goes down to the Church, laying the blame on the priest, and cutting him off financially.

Memo to Paulie -- it wasn't the priest that called the ghostbuster from the Pathmark.

Re: When Sil slaps Tracee around - 07/26/14 10:07 PM

Getting back to the title of this thread, Sil loaned $3k to Tracy for the braces. While Tony was upset that Ralph killed Tracy due to closeness in age to Meadow, Sil had a legitimate beef w/Ralphie. Did Tony tax Ralph for killing Tracy so that Sil could be repaid? I don't recall so. But Tony could have justifiably ordered Sil to whack Ralph for killing Tracy. I'm just surprised they didn't make more of a big deal of Sil's legit complaint.

Re: When Sil slaps Tracee around - 07/27/14 12:58 AM

That does seem a bit odd that restitution wasn't made, at least on camera.

After all, when Silvio tracked Tracee to Ralph's place, Ralph immediately backed down when Silvio mentioned that she owed him $3,000.
