Favorite Charachter in GFI II III

For some reason I never like the main chachters. Dont get me wrong they were all great actors, but I just didnt find them appealing even Michael.My favorite charachter in pt 1 was Clemenza. He was a natural in that film. In pt 2 it was pantegilli I never seen that guy in any other movie but everytime he came on the screen the movie got better for me. And pt 3 my fav charachter was mary(just kidding) it was joe zaza i just love his voice for some odd reason.

Part 3 begins with the death of fredo (repeat of part 2 boat scene). Atleast in the version that I have. So technically speaking , fredo was in part3

I know that, but to have a favourite character that has just one line, is a bit strange.

It's a good joke-about Fredo.
I agree that there was nothing so really good in part III. Nothing to talk about.

You are absolutely correct ... the character of Tom Hagen (Robert Duvall did an AWESOME job) is my favorite. To go from Duvall's character to George Hamilton's character of BJ Harrison was the worst part of GFIII, more so than Sophia Coppola as Mary Corleone. FFC should have given Duvall whatever he wanted for GFIII.

I agree. That was FFC's biggest mistake. The dynamic between Michael and Tom was the biggest fault in III for me. I could have even dealt with Sophia if Tom Hagen was there.

Blame Paramount, dont blame FFC. Not the directors decide how much the actors get....

You would have thought after what happened to Apollonia in Sicily, Michael would always have Kay start the car for him.
