Women with Minks at the Tahoe Party.

lIn reviewing the scene from the Lake Tahoe Party for my previous post. I noticed that many if not most of the women had mike stoles or coats. Was this the standard dress for these parties? One notable exception was Kate. It doesn't appear she had mink with her. On the other hand. Connie felt it necessary to make her grand entrance wearing a full mink coat.

It was absolutely the style in the mid and late Fiftiess for women to wear mink stoles--even in tropical areas like Cuba and Florida.
