Wine to drink while watching The Godfather movies?

Wine to drink while watching The Godfather movies? - 07/08/13 08:10 PM

Last year Little Italy in Baltimore showed The Godfather as part of their summer outdoor movie fest. I bought a bottle of Coppola Cab and drank the whole bottle while watching the movie. It was a pretty cool experience to drink a FFC wine while watching a FCC movie. This summer, they will be showing Part II which I am stoked about since it's my favorite. So I'd like to see if anyone else drinks wine while watching these movies, especially a good Italian or Sicilian style wine. Any good Chiantis? Any other style wines I should try?

With all due respect TB it would be a owrthy experiment to drink Proseco for the Nevada scenes.

Only for Johnnie Ola. And for Fredo a "real drink."

In addition to drinking red wine, I have been known to eat Italian bread and pasta, using Clemenza's recipe for the sauce.
