Zasa?

In Part III when Vincent kills Joey Zasa, why does he say the word "Zasa" right after he shoots him?

I dunno know. Just to act cool I think. You know, like "Hey Joey..." Bang Bang "ZZZaazaa"

I agree with Enzo. I think it was a way of Vincent showing contempt for Zasa (notice the smirk on his face). I bet Andy Garcia ad-libbed that line.

Andy Garcia gets alot of flack for that role, but I think he did a great job.

That name does have a comical ring to it. Zah-Zah! It would be something to say mockingly after a kill-shot. Zah-Zah! Almost like, Got-cha!

Here are some lines I found rather amusing, said by Vincent:

"So what happened"
"What happened? They put me in A room With Joey zasa, what you thinks gonna happen, I bit the guys ear off"

When Vincent is passing out envelopes of money to other Dons at the meeting, he whispers to Joey Zasa nothing for you. I thought that was pretty good line.

I think Vincent's ZaZa was kinda like Sonny's BaDaBing, sort of a trademark dont'cha think? Like Father like Son.
