Apparently the man being murdered works for or is in support of Chapo Guzman. Chapo Guzman of the sinoloa cartel as you probably know is in a huge war with the Juarez Cartel for control of their area. La Linea is the armed wing of the juarez cartel and is made up of a lot of ex state police officers.
