they were supposed to be a consortium of all the midwest bosses, from chicago, kansas city, Milwaukee and cleveland. Remo Gaggi=Joseph Auippa, Kansas City=Nicholas Civella, Milwaukee=Frank Ballistrieri etc

Theres also a boss from Detroit i think,i remember Pesci sayin something "like this antique from Detroit right here..."

I loved the portrayal of Tuffy DeLuna ("Artie something" in the film)
I met the guy personally and he really was a train wreck, I could never imagine this guy rising to the level of underboss, he was a genuine idiot. For the record he did not really die of a heart attack in his living room, why Scorsase chose to put that in the film I have no idea

The scene towards the end of the movie where whats his face gets shot and killed in the hotel parking lot in the Chicago Suburb of Lincolinwood, I just snow plowed that parking lot 2 days ago. Hotel is still there but abandoned.
