Why do Chicago and New York hate eachother?

Ever notice New York always thought they were better than Chicago and the Chicago outfit always thought New York were a bunch of cocksuckers?

Why? Wtf happened between the two cities?

I know you like to stir things up, but this is silly.

The Outfit and the Luciano/Costello/Genovese were always very close.

Thats right and this is a stupid thread (no disrespect @Rush).

The only "important conflict" that I know of is between Giancana and Bonanno which in turn lasted only during Giancanas reign as boss. Accardo was previously on good terms with Bonanno, and later Ricca allegedly saved Bill's life or helped in removing the contract on his head.

Look I'm not saying this in a business sense , but a personal sense. Its been known for years that New York thinks they are better than Chicago and Chicago thinks the same about New York.
