City Jobs. Why does it continue?

City Jobs. Why does it continue? - 10/09/23 11:41 AM

As we all know on here many guys who are connected with enough importance have city jobs. Many of these guys dont even do anything. They get put on the payroll of their cities dept , may report to a job, do a little work such as some street cleaning or snow removal. Then an hour or two later they leave and go hang out in their social club for the remainder of the day. These guys are paid good $$$ also, over $100,000 per year in some positions.

Why the fuck is this still being allowed in cities like Chicago?

At least they show up to work. Look at all the people in Chicago that get paid by the government to keep having kids. Generations of manipulating the system. They get housing, food, phones, free college... The whole system is fucked. I work my ass off and can't afford one of those suits you always talk about Rush. I barely get ahead.

Work? Wtf? Putting an hour in by reporting to a location and running a street cleaner for an hour is not work.

Why the fuck do you care? The government fucks us every which way they can and you're worried about some guys with no-show jobs lol. Just look at your fucking paycheck next time you get paid, compare the gross amount to the net amount. GTFOH!

Even though Im talking about a private firm...for 15 years...Im telling the same thing to my younger colleagues. We are not here for friendship or to have sex and booze on daily basis, or to talk about "Einsteins theory", but instead we are here to make money the easiest way we can without making too much noise. If you finish your job by 10:00 in the morning or 12 at noon, after that you can do whatever you want. Go to some bar or go sleep at home if you had a tough night, or go fuck your girlfriend or whatever. Tomorrow you do the same thing. All we care is about numbers. Thats it. If Im happy with the numbers, whatever you do after that, its your own thing and I dont care about it. The codex and what the top directors say comes second since they also care only about the numbers/income. Its becoming or already it is a way of life lol.

The government in Washington is worse than any city in America . When Trump got in it turned their world upside down . And if you don’t think it’s a big deal ,just think if you had the contract for the the little carpet mats in every doorway in government !!!! Fucken millions and thats just the beginning.

The people that have these contracts are in government with a front business or similar …. All the up to putting on new roofs … lawn care … maintenance contracts ect….and when Trump came in he had no idea and it didn’t come to mind until he was on his way out so all these contracts are funneled into the people controlling Washington and there are thousands … even the pots and pans …. Dam rackets and all they do is come after Italians and even there wifes will get indicted if the man with not plea guilty .

You don’t see BIDENS wife or sons or daughters or grandchildren getting indicted and the all received upwards of 30 million from communist countries all over the planet …. But lock up the Italians and their wifes and tak all the rackets.

Chicago has always been a crooked city - but its not any more crooked today than it was yesterday. It was far worse in terms of no show jobs and wasted tax dollars and bullshit - today's tax dollars being wasted and put into people's pockets are largely from corporations (not people). Love the red state rural folk chiming in on Chicago and welfare though - most of them are on the couch all day long watching Fox News and collecting welfare like they do in the 'big bad ghetto.'

The people crying about no-show jobs are just jealous and mad because they have to actually work. Quit hating and drop all that bitter envy, it's bad for you.

You do realize that the government is actually fucking you over by providing gangsters with no-show jobs, right? Who do you think pays government workers (no show workers) salaries? It's the tax payers, which means higher taxes and less net pay.

You seem very angry, and not very bright. Vibes.

OP- do you have any recent examples in Chicago of this happening? I'm sure it still does, to an extent, but I don't think it's as bad as it's been historically.

Oh yeah? And you sound very jealous of people gaming the system because you don't have the balls lol. Who cares, people need to get over here and there, it adds balance.

You'd better go back to school and get a legitimate education in the ways of the world...because, truth be told, you're really friggin clueless.

On one hand, you are defending (hell, advocating) people getting tax payer dollars to do nothing. On the other, you are bitching about high taxes.

You seem either very confused, or very stupid.

ChiCubs, I suspect that it may be a dangerous combination of both.

This clip about Chris Spina driving around Joey Lombardo while on the clock always made me laugh.

"At the time he was observed doing this, he was on city time, he was getting time and a half on his $20 an hour salary, he wasn't in his work location, and I'm sure his job function isn't to be chauffeuring people around."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BoEBwZJ6i50&ab_channel=MOBFAX

It reminds me of the George Costanza line: "Was that wrong? Should I not have done that? I tell you, I gotta plead ignorance on this thing, because if anyone had said anything to me at all when I first started here that that sort of thing is frowned upon..."
