The Golden Touch In Cicero: New Power Player, Louie Rainone, Emerges In Chicago Mob Circles, Per Sources

https://gangsterreport.com/the-gold...rges-in-chicago-mob-circles-per-sources/

February 25, 2023 — Convicted murderer Louis (Louie Gold) Rainone has emerged as a shot caller in the modern-day Chicago Outfit, according to multiple sources. The 56-year old reputed wiseguy can be found most days working at his legitimate business, the Roosevelt Gold Exchange, in Cicero.

One source claims Rainone is a captain. Another source says he an acting boss and the tip of the spear when it comes to the Chicago mob’s “younger generation,” a group of roughly two dozen members “made” into the Outfit in the 2000s by then-acting boss Michael (Fat Mike) Sarno.

again how does this guy go from low level unknown associate with one arrest back in the 80's to ACTING BOSS? either this info is wrong or the state of the outfit is more dire than any on here thought.

He’s not acting boss. He is an advisor to his brother Louie, that’s it! Louie Is calling the shots on the street for Cicero.

This guy lost his bid to end court supervision because he was spotted hanging out at his old Cicero stomping grounds. So tell me, if he gets harassed for merely going back to the old neighborhood, how is he going to be able to make any serious moves in the Chicago Outfit?

How come they're not this hard on street gangs and cartel operatives in Chicago? Those motherfuckers are thriving in the city! I swear they are prejudiced against Italians.

there seems to be confusion here. the article at start of this thread by burnstein claims either LOUIS RAINONE is a capo or acting boss.this article is not about MARIO. that is what it says.
and hes head of the spear??? nonsense.
is it possible l.rainone is in charge of old sarno street crew working under whoever the cicero capo is?

Correct. He’s running things for Sarno on the street taking orders from him directly. The Cicero crew is more biker gang than anything. The enforcers are true white trash motherfuckers as his muscle are bikers (outlaws)

If you owe them money or get in trouble they use bikers to threaten you to get what they want. The Cicero guys are different from other crews in Chicago on how they choose to conduct business.

Louis Rainone is who I referred to a few weeks back in another post. His name came up form someone else who had a credible source in Chicago. Louis was said to be running Cicero while Inendino took a step back. He was a former 12th St Player and back in the late 1980s he was charged in a gang murder with fellow 12th St Player and future Outlaw member Gustavo Bujdud. Louis owns and operates the Gold Exchange the same one that Sarno's indictment revolved around and formerly owned by Mark Polchan who is a Outlaw member and former 12 St Player.

He hangs out with bikers and is not a good dresser.

When bad dressers get indicted, I get less upset

This guy wouldn't have even been considered for his position back in the mobs heyday. Maybe a driver to drive around the mob higher ups, and thats about as far as it would have gone.

Serious question and I'm being dead serious...........

Does the mob even have a dress code anymore when they guys go in to get made?

I'm starting to really believe its possible they let these guys get made in fucking t-shirts and jeans.

Didn't he cooperate against Lenny Patrick?

Re: New Power Player, Louie Rainone emerges in Chicago - 02/28/23 09:54 PM

Mario Rainone the brother wore a wire around Patrick and that made him flip.

No one has answered my ???

Do they even make guys wear suits to making ceremonies anymore? Is there a dress code still?

Serious question here. I'm having doubts that there is compared to previous generations.

Yes, there's no excuse for a mobster to dress like a slob, although many here try to make excuses for them.

I know not sure why either. Its very sad a few individuals on this forum do not value fashion sense.

One of the reasons I admire NY and the mob out there is because they do put an effort into how they dress and take pride in it. The other mafia families around the country its becoming far less common.

Even if you wear a tracksuit, wear a fucking beautiful badass tracksuit from Armani, not some damn baggy ass Under Armor sweatsuit that looks like it came from Ross Dress for Less.

Places like Ross do have nice little finds once in a while I must admit. Haven't been to one in many years though.

How would anyone here know what way they dressed? I would think the circumstances dictate it. One guy was made in prison, I think the correction officers would have been a little suspicious of them wearing suits they had smuggled in. smile

I shop at Ross, and yes they have nice finds. But if I'm a made guy, I'm not shopping at Ross.

I think Chicago would do well to have a Zip faction.

Calm down fanboy. Maybe nobody answered because nobody knows.

Why don’t you ask your supposed high level connections???

I think they would do well if NY gave them a lesson on how to dress.

how does louis rainone fit in to the alleged conflict between mongols and outlaws that is brewing in chicago. i would think if he has connections to the outlaws or acts as a link he might be a respected voice if indeed he has attained such status now. also how does rainone fit in to the outfit hierarchy now that james inendino has died.
to that point on another thread there has been heated debate about inendinos alleged cooperation with authorities in his past. well was mario rainone not considered a rat at some point? and yet according to some he is now a respected/feared authority once more in the outfit. rainone also served some time after being considered a rat for burglary.

and chicago has no zip faction. none.

I'd like to know where Louis Rainone stands in this Mongol and Outlaw beef because he is close with the Outlaws and grew up with some of them but there's been nothing about it. Maybe Scott Burnstein is overstating this coming biker war.

Scott Burnstein says Jimmy Inendino was Underboss and that Dino Marino and Sal Cataudella were supervising Cicero while Sal Cataudella was Acting Underboss. Another source someone had who has been credible and mentioned Louis Rainone long before Scott Burnstein ever did said Louis Rainone calls the shots in Cicero and Jimmy Inendino is in the background. He also had Sal Cataudella as Underboss and Louis Rainone could be a successor to Solly D.

Louis Rainone is probably the Cicero Captain now.

Mario Rainone wore a wire on Lenny Patrick and that caused Lenny Patrick to flip and that kinda brought down Gus Alex. The Outift blew up Mario Rainone's moms porched as a message and Mario Rainone stopped cooperating and did a long stint in prison. There's rumours there was some kinda of deal and pay off too but who really knows. If Scott Burnstein is right that Mario Rainone is back in the fold it might just be around the Cicero crew and Louis Rainone has enough clout to facilitate Mario Rainone being around. I doubt he has any serious standing in the Outift today. He's on parole until 2025 too.

Chicago does have rumours of some Italians off the boat working in the city. Don't know if anyone would say it's a zip faction but there are Italians there. I think it's said they work with whatever is left of the Elmwood Park crew.
