Do any of the Philly goes know what's going on with this guy today? Is he active? He was a top player for years. Was he shelved? He wasn't mentioned in the Mazzone case and was nowhere near that taped ceremony in 2015

His status is drunk

Lets start with the Philly Mob Club House near 9th and Catherine just north of the Italian Market area. The wise guys, after an 18 month absence here, returned in recent weeks leading up to the outbreak of the Corona Virus pandemic. The store front club house is usually bustling with activity during the week. Mobsters and associates come and go, taking full advantage of the free parking right across the street at the Rite Aid store. Nobody ever gets towed from that private lot by the way.

Some top figures like Mob Captain George Borgesi, foot soldiers Lou D’Angelo, Anthony Borgesi and Anthony Accardo are regulars here along with drop by visits from rising star Capo Dom Grande and alleged Street Boss Mike “Mikey Lance” Lancelotti. Capo Marty Angelina and retired Philly Mob Boss Joe Ligambi as well as others have made the scene here in the past. But now the place is locked up tight. Pennsylvania’s strict directives on gatherings of more than five people during the Covid19 pandemic obviously threw a wrench in the works as far as hanging out or meeting at the 800 square foot club house.

Wasn’t he a guest of the government in 2015? Or at least probably on paper. It’s been a few years, but the last I heard through the grapevine he had serious beef with a member of the admin. Not hearing much about him might say more about the hierarchy at the top in Philly than it does about Marty.

Only time I met him was right after he came home from the RICO case. Probably 2007 or around then. He was celebrating with some of his people in this olde city nightclub that Joey Merlino controlled (he was still away) and he got super drunk. One could say embarrassingly drunk. Almost all those Philly guys can drink but he seems to be one of the worst.

Nastiest , asshole fall down drunk you will ever come across. He’s been laying low lately since Covid. You don’t see him out and about anymore at bars getting ossified drunk off his ass. I’m sure he’s busy again with the ticket agency he owns now that sporting events and concerts are back with people in attendance. I’m sure he will also make his way to the shore this summer.

People tend to forget that the main Philly guys are all now almost 60 years old, they’re not spring chickens anymore….
