Does anybody have a good pick for my next project

Does anybody have a good pick for my next project - 05/16/21 03:31 PM

I have a few more projects under construction before I'm done with what's in my file. I have spent countless hours writing about nearly every family in the U.S., as well as some Sicilian crews and countless individual mob biographies.

I thought I'd consider offering you guys the next pick.

So by general consensus, as well as uniqueness, does anyone have a mob subject matter that I HAVEN'T already written about? Lol, Its a tough question because I've covered so much already.

But I will consider researching a story if you peek my interest enough. But its gotta be a good one, not some mundane subject matter thats been rehashed 1000 times already ok?

Rat Pack! Sinatra and Dino with Luciano and everyone, from Vegas to the meetings in Cuba and Palermo and anything else would be fantastic!

The links with the Kennedys, Giancana, etc.

The whole show business racket, the infamous picture with Carlo Gambino, Paul Castellano and Sinatra.

Hudson County New Jersey guys in either the Genovese or the Bonanno family. Guys like John Digilio or Bayonne Joe Zicarelli. Or anyone from that area.

Tommy Agro was in Joe Gallo’s crew ( I think ). Agro had some tough guys around him and he was respected.

How about something on the Camora or Ndranghetta operating in the US? Or possible crossover/cooperation with regular Sicilian outfits here? That outta keep you busy.

I was toying with that idea. But I'm not sure I can gather up enough comprehensive info for a solid story without it dragging on incessantly

Jersey City, NJ. Especially the waterfront.

Re: Does anybody have a good pick for my next project - 05/17/21 05:01 AM

Charles Binaggio from KC. He treated KC like a fiefdom, was a prominent socialite like Luciano. I read some statistics like the number of mob murders was way, way up when he was in charge. Also I believe he was operating in some states the rest of the mob never touched like Idaho as well as making inroads to Nebraska.

If I have any balls? Lol

You should really learn how to talk to people because your social 'skills' suck, and you sound like a punk kid. What 'balls' as you say does it take for that? I really don't get it.

And you think that the Republican Party has never had mob connections huh? How bout I throw out just 1 name ok. I won't even bother to put out a second because you might shit yourself.

Spiro Agnew. Through a heavy connection and alleged $100,000 bribe to him (which ultimately was split with Nixon I'm sure), Richard Nixon commuted the heavy 12 year sentence of NJ based capo-regime Angelo (The Gyp) Di Carlo after he served a measly year or two behind bars.

Now THATS a hook and what many at the time raised their eyebrows about..... all Republicans.

Know what I say? Big deal! Who gives a good fuck.

And during FDRs run for the presidency Lucky Luciano, Costello, and the others, backed him AND his opponent, Republican Al Smith. So no matter which party got into the White House the mob would have an inside track. Both reputedly played ball with the wise guys.

Don't even let me delve into all the senators, congressmen, and other office holders in BOTH parties that were beholden to their mob benefactors.
---

You REALLY need to know WTF you're talking about before you open your mouth and spout stupid shit out of it!
---
want more?

How bout Repulican Senator Al D'Amato? He was a personal friend of Lucchese associate Philly Basile and capo Paul Vario. He even testified on behalf of Basile at his trial in federal court.

On the flip side we have Democrat powerhouses Meade Esposito and Mario Biaggi who came from Brooklyn and East Harlem respectively. They each grew up with tons of guys and were decent with everybody from the neighborhood.

The Mob knows NO such boundaries as "political parties" LOL......... so get real (and go educate yourself before you put your foot in your mouth and trip over your own dick)!

I don't mind doing TA. But as you say I just don't know if there's enough content out there on him for that. Of course I can do the 'era' that we all know about with him. Florida. Joe Dogs, Joe Piney. etc

But as far as his FULL prior background I'm not so sure.

I met TA a few times. He was an OK guy. A little loud and too in your face for my taste. But it is what it is

I'll see what else I can dig up on him ok. If I gather enough I'll do his bio

Absolutely! Politics is a dirty business. It takes so much money to win an election, candidates have to beg anyone and everyone for money and it compromises them. I think the Mob is just like other groups with money and power, they play bothl sides of the fence to get what they want. That's politics.

the New York journo 'mafia' (LOL) no balls just like I said

No one said the mafia wasnt into the R's either, just that the D's and the mob worked 100% together until RFK's time

now go make another "project" which is little more than you cut and pasting other peoples and wikipedia together and then trying to affiliate market it here

Everything you do is equivalent of dry snitching if you really want to flex the "I hate rats card".

posting names, dates, everything either glorifying the mob or ratting on them which is it

oh wait you want to be respected so you are a "journalist" a real reputable profession lol you probably live in jersey

Exactly DD. LOL......dead people! The feds will dig em up out of the ground and charge em.

This guy will make you laugh, because he IS a fucking clown face!

With only 46 posts in over two years, now we know why this numbskull doesn't post up more often. Because he's a jerk off who's got nothing construction to write about. Doesn't know 'shit from shinola' as the saying goes, and probably still lives in his mothers basement. (In Idaho no less), yet he wants to put down New Jersey. Lol, I come out of NYC unlike 'Tony-who-bombed' who probably is out milking cows about now, or jerking-off to porn in your mommy's house. His name is probably not even 'Tony.' He's probably a "Jethro" or "Joshua" or some other whacked out handle.

I got a challenge for you tough guy. Since you wanna join OC websites and are such a know it all, go write an OC article (anything at all) and lets see what YOU got? .... I'm sure it's not much at all. Let the forum critique you. "IF YOU HAVE THE BALLS" (as you like to say) LOL

I don't know that there's enough material out there on Santora. But Alongi may be a candidate.

You gotta remember fellas that I also gotta have a personal interest in doing a bio. If the subject matter doesn't really interest me then its a drudgery to research it.

But Cokie Dom Alongi may be an interesting guy. I always tried to pick the more obscure members and associates in order to pique readers interest (and my own). To be honest with you, when I write about most of these well known bosses its somewhat boring because sooo much info is out on them already its hard to dig up more and be 'singular' and new.

But the little known names and crews? Lol Thats where its at for me. Thats why I've done so many exposes on Upstate NY, and other far flung areas and little crews. To bring something new to the table.

In biographies alone I've researched and written over 405 subjects. And besides the better known bosses most of those have been on the lesser known guys. Likewise I've developed 13 'racket industry' exposes, written about 5 different gangland wars, and over 59 very extensive Family or regime and crew exposes.

I've got a few more still up my sleeve. But I gotta be honest, the well is starting to run a bit dry on subject matter. I've covered so much that there's not that much interesting stuff (IMO) left to do. LOL

ButtonGuys of The New York Mafia site has become a reliable encyclopedia on organized crime. But at some point it's gotta trickle off. Like everything else in life I guess.
