Deepest mob blood ties - 04/06/20 02:29 AM

The Asaros have been captains in the Bonnano family going back 3+ generations if I’m correct like 70 years or something. Does anyone else know any other deeep ties like this with someone still on the street?

The Grimaldi family but they are said to have been shelved, the Sabella family, The Galante family, the Profaci family, the Colombo family, Aloi, Cammarata, Persico, Corrao, Gambino, Indelicato, Mancuso, Mannino, Mosca, Santoro, Amato, Arcuri, Riccobono. There are many and they dont belong to just one family. If you are asking the family remained and passed the rank onto another family member going back before or at the time of the naming of the five bosses and still on the street today, then the Corrao family in the Gambino crime family, the Corrado and the Tocco families of Detroit are the only other families I can think of today. There are examples of it happening in the past, but after the commission trial, and strawman cases it became rare for that to happened.

Salvatore Scafidi in Philadelphia is at least a 4th generation wiseguy, with Gaetano 'Big Tom' Scafidi being an early member from the 1920s

the Scafidi family ended with Tommy 'Horsehead' Scafidi turning informer.

I can only think of the Bonventre family.

Does anyone know if frank locasio was related to either peter or Carmine “willie” locasio? They were top level brothers associated with the luccheses around 20 years older then frank.

Few more to add on that list would be the corrao family starting with 3 generations running the same Gambino crew as capos. (The first generation carrao was also close with the 1st generation locasios which would make sense)

Tony nose mancuso and his son the current bonnano boss Mikey nose.

They all are. This is including made members, associates, and those locked up. Those that are incarcerated but are still active, throught messages and still getting some of their cuts from the streets.

the rizzuto family in montreal is on 3rd generation of control of that city with strong family connections in montreal and connections back in sicily.
the 10 yr war was thought to have wiped the rizzuto/sollecito faction out but recent reports state that it is still #1 mafia group in city.
