Aniello "Neil" Migliore has died - 09/14/19 01:13 AM

I just found out 5 minutes ago that Aniello Migliore died two days ago; September 11th. I found out on Facebook through a legit Facebook group with thousands of members.

Check the AL Jacobsen Funeral Home INC Funeral Home. Huntington Station; NY. Neil is the 1st obituary up there.

He's the last of the old generation along with little Vic.

What is everyone's thought? Neil is dead and it's legit as it gets.

Definitely an old schooler but, I have heard that, “ last of the old” phrase too much.
Not aimed at your words though.

Massino had the title in 2004

Bobby Manna still alive
Sonny Franzese still alive
Albert Gallo
Tommy Gambino
ETC.

Thanks for the news Zavattoni. Migliore was a particularly interesting mobster. Driver at Appalachin in his 20s, involved in the concrete club, briefly held admin position, sentenced to a long prison term, had the conviction overturned, survived an assassination attempt, seems to have retired. RIP.

@ ItalianIrishMix

No offense taken buddy; You're right though. ''The last of the old timers'' It does get old; Especially when it's false when there's still a fair share of them left that are retired; active; in jail; or in prison for life.

@MightyDR

He was a very interesting mobster. How close was he to Tommy Lucchese? He drove pretty much the administration to the Apalachin conference from what legends say, so he had to have some connections to all those old guys. I know he was close to Anthony Corallo because he was offered a administration position by him but he declined. Amuso; and Casso tried to kill the guy because they felt threatened cause. He still stayed around; and never ratted. The guy who tried to kill him (Amuso) still respected him gave him a panel position in 2009-2010. Not sure..... He's old school LCN. RIP.....

Re: Aniello "Neil" Migliore has died - 09/15/19 03:25 AM

According to al darco and a few other places ive read neil was amuso first choice as consigliere. In only a month or 2 of amuso taking over neil is indicted in the concrete 2 trial. Amuso wastes no time and names either some old guy coo or casso as his 2 3 . I think he juggled them. But neil was his consig for a short time i also belive casso tried to kill him so amuso wouldnt make him acting boss in 92 93. Casso was undermining amuso which is why he stripped him of his rank almost as soon as he was caught. Amuso must have put the pieces together in 92 93. The pat testa murder neil migs.

Re: Aniello "Neil" Migliore has died - 09/15/19 03:34 AM

When amuso become boss chrismis 1986 casso only becomes the capo of vics crew but quickly rises to consigliere then underboss by the end of 87. Amuso probaly just assumes neil will get 50 to 100yrs like the guys in all the federal trials happening at the time. Neil was sentenced to 70yrs in 88 but flipped it on appeal thats when he was shot in 92 93 by the motorcyclist. He was let free on bail for the appeal. Casso knew he would take over his spot cause casso was on the run living in nj. Eventually neil takes a 10yr plea in like 94 but got credit for like 4yrs he did then got released in 98 99

Re: Aniello "Neil" Migliore has died - 09/15/19 11:59 PM

I betthe luchese showed up n full force for this shit. The guy was maybe last dude who was even near the Appalachian. Amuso is said to have the whole family go to his wifes wake a few yrs back. I bet to show the proper respect its the same but theres the casso angle trying to kill him. That shooter is probaly free today

Christic tic became consigliere in 1980. Amuso took his crew over. Thats why christy tic died free. His lawyers proved to the parole board he didnt ok carmine galantes hit. Cause he was only a capo in 79. But thats a whole nother theead

He came up under Joe Laratro, who was under Joe Lucchese, so that was his pathway to the top dogs of the family.

Another interesting bit of information about Migliore was that, according to Tommy Ricciardi, he didn't get made until 1980. That's coming from JD who used to post on the Black Hand forum.

Migliore got made in his early twenties and was a capo by his early forties. He served as acting underboss for a short time in the seventies, not long after getting bumped up to capo.

Rats like Tommy are always talking shit.

He had a car accident in Binghamton the next day of the round up. He was more likely picking Lucchese and LaSalle up, probably heading to Endicott.

Or was running a crew even if was an associate like Gotti with the Fatico crew because Migliore was born in the 1933 and the books was closed in the late 1950s maybe he was proposed but can be made until the books was re-opened in the 1976.

He was made in 1954. They closed the books in 1957.

Tommy Ricciardi is wrong. There have been plenty of reliable informants that said Migliore was made before 1956. The closes informant is from the FBN, who was a member of Joe Lorato crew that would be taken over by Joe Lucchese, followed by Joe Laratro who's brother Donato was a good friend of. According to the informant, Neil was made young do to his schooling and the respect of his father Emilio Migliore.

It's just common knowledge. Even my Grandma knows when Migliore got made. Even members of lost Amazonian tribes know when Migliore got made. In fact, you guys are about the only people on earth that don't know when Migliore got made.

Just kidding

I don't remember buddy, I've just known that information for years.

I only remember his age when he got made, then I dated it from his birth year to come up with 1954.

In Capeci's obit he says Migliore was actually made in the 70s, but before the books were opened. He was taken to another part of the country, made, then brought back to NY.

Capeci is wrong.

Ducks wanted Migliore made ASAP and then after that he tried to fast track him to capo, then into the administration.

So what was Capeci's story.....Migliore got sent to Kansas to get his button?, or some way out story like that?, Capeci is always getting shit spat in his ear.

Weren't there a good few exceptions to the rule when the books were closed? They were closed for what, 20 years? I'm sure there were at least a half dozen guys that must have been made during that time. It's such a long gap.

i bet litttle al was a source on capecis payroll to the day he died. the part where al said he told the feds when he flipped neils life was in danger because he was a threat to amsuo and cassos power is new. maybe amuso did ok the hit, but it seems weird because casso is strippped of his rank (93)and neil was back in the fold till the day he died. he must have been reassured by amuso he didnt order the hit. capeci also kinda solved the neil was at the applachian meeting. his car was but some other made guy was driving luchese in it. i disagree neil was tonys ducks underboss before the commission trial. why wouldnt ducks just made him boss instead of amuso?? ive rread a few places neil was amuso consig for a few months before being indicted then casso replaced him. any news on steve crea and madonnas trial. it started a few days back. any twitter reporters at there trial

Casso was stripped of his rank because he planned to hit Amuso and make himself the boss.

Migliore was acting underboss, not official underboss. And only for a few months.

Why didn't Ducks make Migliore boss instead of Amuso? What makes you think Migliore ever wanted to be the boss.

any of the other sites have a update on the luchese bosses trial? i mean this should let people know. 2 bosses of a family start a rico trial for murder and few attemps, shaking down millions in the construction field and theres not even a reporter there for the opening statements. i ,mean this is goood for the mafia guys, there not even news worthy like the 80tys 90tys. will see. the times barely ever gives them a look. its only the arrest and no follow up. capeci will write on thursday then the rest of the press will follow. 2 bloods who kidnapped 69 had twiiter feed up live but i'll give the guy credit hes been doing that courthouse forever, check his twitter innercitypress. i guess hes manhattan i think only. the luchese case is in white plains im not a new yorker but i think thats in yonkers or the outside of the bronx i have no clue. love the bronx zoo shout out to pizzaboy, that jungle asian part in the back was a 2hr wait to get on the train thing we wasnt waiting. but my gurl left the lights on in my car cause we left a gararge in times square to the zoo. and see never shut them off in the parking lot and it was dead when we tried to leave. thanks to the zoo keeper guy jumped us and we left to mass. i was pissed. my cheap ass had to had to give him 10 bucks

Reminds me of the time I was in NY during a cold snap and my ear got infected and I had to get some immigrant who was working in the hotel I was staying at to help me take my earring out. He was a total gent about it. My tight ass neglected to give him a tip. I'm embarrassed and ashamed about it. I wish I could take back time and give him a minimum 10 dollar tip. Seriously, I still cringe about it to this day. Probably the same day I got into it with some kid in Duane Reade while trying to buy cigarettes because I didn't have ID. Also probably the same day I went to see a doctor about my ear and he made me feel extremely uncomfortable bringing up a story about a guy who had to get a piercing removed from his genitals after it got infected.
