Ludwig "Ninny" Bruschi - 09/01/17 01:21 AM

http://nypost.com/2003/06/11/20-gangsters-nabbed-in-new-jersey-sweep/

Cant find much about him online, except the above article of him busted in 03. Typical powerful Genovese skipper. Does anyone know more about him? Beyond the fact that hes one of 3 Westside capos operating in NJ and that he controls Ocean County. Im not too familiar with North Jersey, is that considered the Toms River area? What other towns?

So Hes been skipper for what going on 20 years right? Did he take over Streaky Gattos crew? He has to be the most powerful NJ capo active right now no? Anyone know who his 2nd in command is or what made guys are in his crew? Anyone of the phenomenal north jersey posters we have here able to share some insight on him?

Side note, if this mother fuckers nickname is "Ninny" which is like a euphemism for pussy or fruit cake, as a Genovese capo he must be one tough cocksucker to have a nickname like that...be interesting to know where that name came from. Its gotta be like calling a 6'5 300lb gorilla the nickname "Tiny" right?

Appreciate any and all responses fellas, been a while since i posted a thread, hope everyone is doin well

Minus the drug trafficking, wtf? When I look at my paycheck and see all the money taken out in taxes, I get pissed to see the feds wasting resources on gambling and loan shark charges. 156% interest? Amscot and all those other borrowing places charge more than that. They ran it from 1993. 24 years of out smarting the G. That's the Westside!

His crew runs a big gambling package in Ocean and Monmouth Counties at the Jersey Shore. He lives in Jackson which is Northwest of Toms River inland.

His crew is big in Monmouth and Ocean but also counties up north including Hudson as detailed in the articles about that bust. His crew has always been separate from the Gatto crew, that crew is based in Passaic County around Patterson and was originally run by Lodi Pete LaPlaca, a Jerry Catena favorite.

Maybe I'm splitting hairs here but is 'Ninni' really pronounced the same as 'Ninny'? To me 'Ninni' would be pronounced more like 'Nee-Nee' if that makes sense lol, where as ninny would be pronounced more like 'ni-nee'. Definitely a difference there in my opinion.

I don't know...I'm from the south so maybe in New York/New Jersey it sounds the same.

I wouldn't really call that North Jersey. The southern part of Ocean County (609 area code) is definitely South Jersey. The northern part of the county is not really either north or south, it's just called The Shore. But most people in this area, either they or their parents migrated down from north Jersey or NYC.
