Current Day Winterhill Gang

What's the current status of the gang? Wasn't there some white prison gang that was trying to take their rackets like 10 plus years ago?

Furio- this is an Irish gang how does one become a soldier (ie Made Man) ? Are there no associates basically and anyone who is active with the gang is a soldier or is there an official making ceremony of some sort?

In the Winter Hill Gang there no made men status,so there are full blooded italian like alex petricone alias alex rocco ie moe green fro the godfather,with irish thugs and so on there no making ceremony.
Under Bulger every men under him,italian or irish must give him a part of the profits,that's it.

They are more a network of criminals that an organized group like LCN....but they take bets, loan money, shake down drug dealers and specialize in intimidation.
