Rats - 08/02/15 11:17 PM

This question got stirred up from the Gino P. Thread.

I'm not sure if he was a rat or not but it seems like a lot of people agree that he is on here.

Well, I know there are guys like John Alite who moved back to their area or around it. So I'm wondering how many rats have been killed ? Too keep it within a range say from 2000 to now.

Just speaking in general how many wiseguys got whacked for breaking their oath over the years? Theres no fear factor there anymore, these days they can get away with ratting and not face any consequences.

As has been said many times, nowadays it appears the mob doesn't consider it worth the trouble and risk to hit a rat after the damage has been done. It's when the guy is found or suspected to be informing that they may try to minimize the damage by killing them. Lagano being one example. Bruno too, though he may not have actually been ratting but they suspected him of it.

The way things are looking ,the feds don't have the rats that they had when they were putting all assets into putting a end to the families.

The guys they had are dead or shelfed and can not help them. There is only so many times that a guy is going to ask you what went down with a racket or more ,before a red light goes off and they keep him out of the loop.

It must take endless work" to build a CO of any importance". Look at that guy that has Gangland he can not put out anything that is not on a police report any more, cos the guys are gone.

This is making for a big change in things, guy are not running there mouth. People that used to know who was running a crew is just guessing now.
People that knew about guys rackets are just guessing . All this is why there is nothing to write about.

Now I don't know if these guys finally got it right or they have been keeping it quiet !

But if the feds don't have the list of CO's in high places anymore I would not be surprised if some of the bosses are feeling like they can start dropping some of the rats .

That life will not work with out fear ! and not the kind of fear that someone has to say. The kind of fear that people feel them self without anyone saying a word !!

Philly is dropping some bodies" and it is showing in the rat" column.People just are not talking like before.

Absolutely " I don't know what the out come will be but I know this .
The guys in the life are breathing a "little" and it may just make for them to get back on track .

In no way do I mean 1970 ,but to the point that a decent 25 year old guy comes along ,he has half a brain and he is able to be mentored till he is mid thirties without going down cos of something stupid cos there was no one to show him the ropes .

A lot of this mess comes from just that .Guys getting into stupid shit cos they just don't get it.(low level drugs ect.)
