Vincent Alo

Apologies if there is a thread on this already but searching for "Alo" yields no results. Doesn't seem to be too much info out there other than the usual "Lanksy partner" stuff. Seems like he came out of Harlem and took over Joe Adonis crew which was later taken over by Ianniello (according to wiki at least...not sure if true). Did he have a crew when he went to Florida? Was he down there full time? He seemed to be pretty powerful/rich with his casinos in Florida. Any info on him would be appreciated. Thanks.

He is mentioned in The Valachi Papers. I think he was partners with Joe Valachi in a numbers operation or something. Valachi said Alo murdered a guy by beating and strangling and dumped him in the East River.
