NY Gangsters currently on the shelf

NY Gangsters currently on the shelf - 01/03/15 12:54 AM

I've always wondered what life must be like for connected guys who get put on the shelf after they fuck something up. Trusted enough to still be alive but also trying to come back and prove themselves. It takes major balls just to walk back into a room full of faces that you know either want you dead or want to keep you alive long just a bit longer, reaching to squeeze that last dollar, until that trust fully breaks. I'm sure there are several NY guys on the shelf amongst all of the families but would enjoy some additional input.

Made guys get shelved, connected guys get chased. It's just semantics, but I get your point.

You're correct pizzaboy. A sharp distinction I overlooked. So made guys on the shelf?

Did something right?

He ain't a rat, and for that I give him A LOT of credit. But raising a daughter who eventually got him shelved just to put a few bucks in her pocket would have gotten him killed twenty or thirty years ago. Maybe her, too.

And according to celebrity net worth, she's worth two million: http://www.celebritynetworth.com/richest-celebrities/actors/renee-graziano-net-worth/

That's making money hand over fist? There are unmade Westside guys who own empty lots worth more than that.

He did nothing right with those offspring. They should have ended up as a stain on TG's mattress, he would have been better off.

No. Chased away. Goodbye. You're out of the life (but yeah, moving away might be a good idea lol).

That whole thing kills me. He should be embarrassed by that group of clowns. I know its been discussed elsewhere, but what do people on the street think of D'avanzo's role in the whole thing?
