Capo Crimine - 01/22/14 06:27 PM
Lately I've been reading up on the concept of Capo Crimine. From what I have read its similar to the LCN idea of a capo di tutti capi (although most sources I have read claim that the "boss of all bosses" is primarily a media invention)
I'm slightly confused though because it seems as though the Capo Crimine is just someone elected to be sort of like... an "MC" for an annual 'Ndrangheta meeting.
I was hoping someone could shed some light on this subject for me, wikipedia doesn't go into much detail (or perhaps there just aren't any details to get into).
So i guess I'm asking:
1) the Crimine - is it basically like New York's commission?
2) the Capo Crimine - is someone elected to over see the proceedings for the crimine? Maybe someone can fill in some details on what this person's responsibilities actually entail?
Thanks guys.
